Everyone stared at Lea. Their mouths had dropped wide open.
“You’re kidding, right?” asked Ethan.
“Nope,” said Lea.
Everyone continued to stare at her before Courtney broke the silence.
“Well can you at least tell us as much as you can about her, since we still have five minutes?” she asked.
“You mean our last five minutes of freedom,” Ethan mumbled.
“Oh, be quite Ethan,” Tenny said rolling her eyes.
“Well, I don’t really know that much,” Lea admitted. “All I really know is that her name is-“
“Why didn’t you or Mom tell us that we were getting a new family member until today?” Linda asked crossing her arms.
“Yeah, and why are you always the first one to find out?” asked Ethan.
“I don’t always find out first-
“Oh great! Our new family member is at the door and we just found out that she was coming!” Ethan said crossly.
“Yeah, you and Mom really need to work on your timing Lea-” started Linda.
*DING DONG, DING DONG, DING DONG!!!!!*
“Well it’s not my fault that Mom didn’t-
*DING DONG DING DONG DING DONG DING DONG DING DONG DONG DING DONG DING DONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!*
“Um, guys, maybe you should stop arguing and just let her in?” said Tenny.
“Good idea,” said Lea.
She walked to the door and opened it reveling a tall teenage girl with super curly light blond hair.
“Everyone, this is-
“TINA!!!!” Courtney shrieked.
Courtney raced towards her and gave her a huge bear hug.
Tina laughed and hugged her back.
“Hey sis!” Tina said smiling.
“Welcome home Tina!” Lea said.
“Uhhhhhh, can someone please explain to me what’s going on here?” Ethan asked confused.
“Well, I suppose I do owe you an explanation,” she said. “You see, after Mom adopted Courtney, she found out that she had an older sister named Tina. So she had me do some research and long story short, we found out that she was living with a family in New York. So Mom contacted them, and they agreed to let Tina come live with us!”
“Ohhhhhh, ok I get it now,” said Ethan.
“Well, maybe we should show Tina where she’ll be sleeping, so she can put away her stuff,” said Tenny.
“Alright,” said Lea.
“Ethan, would you please carry my bag?” Tina asked with a superior look.
“Ethan, be a gentleman,” Tenny said sternly.
“Fine,” Ethan grumbled. He picked up the heavy bag and walked up the stairs.
“No wonder she wanted me to carry this. What did she pack in here, the statue of liberty?!” Ethan whispered to Lea.
“Well, she is from New York!” Lea giggled.
“Very funny,” Ethan said rolling his eyes.
“You can just set the bag on the bed Ethan,” Tina said when they got to the spare bedroom upstairs that she would be sleeping in.
Ethan rolled his eyes and practically tossed the bag onto the bed.
“Hey! Careful with that!” said Tina. “That’s a Carmon Sheek bag you know.”
“Carmon Sheek huh? I guess you like fashion a lot,” said Tenny.
“Totaly! My old family used to buy me a Ton of name brand clothing! I hope your mom is the same way,” she answered.
“Oh, well, um I’m sure that if you ask her she’ll take you shopping some time soon,” Tenny said a little unsure.
“Great! I hope that she knows a good store to get makeup and scrunchies too! Those are definitely two of my favorite things!” Tina said grinning.
“What’s that you’re pulling out of your bag?” Lea asked curiously.
“A green screen. I got it for my birthday last year. I really like using it for my YouTube channel! I just wish I had a better camera other than my phone and tablet,” said Tina.
“I have a camera! A really nice one too….maybe I could film your YouTube videos sometimes!” suggested Lea.
“Oh yeah, and what’s your price?” Tina asked raising her eyebrows.
“My…price?” asked Lea.
“You know, what you’ll get in return,” said Tina.
“Oh, that. Well, um…I mean if you’re ok with it…..maybe you could…..um-
“Let you use my green screen?” Tina asked grinning.
“Oh, um yeah. Because you see, there was this idea I had where-
“Have at it,” Tina said handing the green screen to her.
“What?” Lea asked confused.
“Consider it a down payment,” said Tina.
“So what else are you into?” asked Linda.
“Oh, well I LOVE Valentine’s Day for one-
“You mean that fake holiday that stores make up to sell more sweets?” asked Ethan.
“ECUSE ME????!!!!!!” Tina screamed.
“Uh oh, Ethan I wouldn’t have said that if I were you,” Courtney said.
“Why? I don’t get the point of Valentine’s Day anyway. The only part that I like about it is the fact that Mom always get’s us candy,” Ethan said shrugging.
“Valentine’s Day is about so much more than candy!!!!!!” Tina said angerly.
“I know, I know, it’s also the day that people who are in love leave each other cheesy notes, and give kisses to each other,” Ethan said dramatically.
“Oh I get. You think that Valentine’s Day is all a big joke huh?! Well, than…than you’re just about the most unloving person I’ve ever met!!!!” Tina yelled.
“Alright, that does it! Ethan, go to your room. You and Tina definitely need some time apart,” said Tenny.
“More like years apart!” Ethan huffed as he stomped out of the room.
“Tina, I’m really sorry about Ethan. He’s not usually this rude when it comes to Valentine’s Day,” said Lea.
“Oh, it’s ok. I already know how to prove him wrong,” Tina said superiorly.
“How?” asked Linda.
“By giving him an invitation to the worlds greatest Valentine’s Day party ever!” she answered.
