“Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!” Tina said happily.
“Happy Valentine’s Day Tina! Oooo, is that a new outfit?” asked Lea
“Yep! Your mom bought it for me yesterday! She said I could pick out a welcome home gift!” she answered.
“What time is the party starting again?” asked Linda, munching on her cereal.
“1:30,” said Tina.
“Time to get ready for church everyone!” Tenny called from the other room.
“Hey, has anyone seen Ethan? I thought for sure he would be down here by now,” said Lea.
Ethan suddenly raced into the kitchen.
“Hey guys, sorry I’m late. I was kind of up late last night and forgot to set my alarm,” he said, grabbing an apple from the fridge.
“Let me guess. You were up making valentines cards,” Courtney said frowning.”
“No! Well, ok maybe…….sort of,” he said. “You’ll get it later.”
“Uh huh,” Tina said slowly. “Well, I guess we’d all better go get ready for church.”
“Alight,” said everyone else.
“Welcome to the world’s greatest Valentine’s Day party everyone!” Tina cheered.
“Woooooww! This is so awesome sis!” exclaimed Courtney.
“Oooooo! Are those treat bags for us?” asked Linda.
“Yep! There’s one for everyone! But before we look at all the goodies, we’re going to hand out cards!” said Tina.
“Hang on a minute, is Ethan late again?” Lea asked, looking around.
“Coming everyone!” Ethan yelled, from upstairs. “I was just getting ready.”
“But you said that you already made your cards! So what were you getting ready this time?! Your outfit?” Tina asked annoyed.
“Well, yes….actually,” he said walking into the room.
Tina’s mouth dropped open. Ethan wasn’t wearing the outfit he had worn that mourning. Instead he was dressed in a clean white suit, with suspenders and………a bow tie! And he was wearing the church shoes, that he had claimed that he would never wear!
“Ethan I…..I….didn’t except you to dress like that…..I mean dress so…..nicely,” Tina said in shock.
“You’re not the only one” Lea said, just as surprised.
“What happened Ethan? You went from hating Valentine’s Day, to wearing shoes that you claimed you would never wear!” said Linda.
“Ok, well for starters, I never said I hated Valentine’s Day. I just said that I didn’t get,” said Ethan. “Second, I kind of found out why Valentine’s Day is so important to Tina.”
“Why?” asked Tenny.
“Because it’s….um, is it ok if I tell them Tina?” he asked.
“Sure,” she said nodding.
“Because……..because it’s Tina’s Mom’s birthday,” said Ethan.
“Oh yeah! I forgot!” Courtney said slapping her face.
“Well, yeah so I’m really sorry, Tina, about what I said about Valentine’s Day,” Ethan said.
“It’s ok, I forgive you. I guess I could’ve just told you why I like Valentine’s Day so much instead of trying to get you to like it,” Tina admitted.
“Well, either way, I shouldn’t have been so rude,” Ethan admitted.
There was silence for the next minute.
“Well, um, anyways the reason I was up late last night was because I had my mom take me to the store to get you this,” Ethan said pulling out a small gift bag from behind his back.
“What is it?” she asked opening the bag.
She gasped when she saw what was inside. There was a tin of peach pecan ice cream, a Valentine card, a necklace, and a ton of colorful scrunchies.
“Awwww thank you Ethan! You’re so sweet!” Tina exclaimed.
She sat the bag down, and then turned around and gave Ethan a hug. Ethan squirmed, a bit embarrassed. The other girls giggled.
“Well, before the day ends, why don’t we get this party started?” Tina asked, grinning.
Everyone else grinned.
“Let’s do it!” said Lea.
“Yeah! Let’s get started!” said Linda.
“As long as there’s lot’s of candy involved, I am so in!” said Ethan, grinning.
“Just don’t eat too much candy,” said Tenny.
Ethan stuffed a handful of candy in his mouth.
“Huh? What was that you said Tenny?” he asked.
Tenny rolled her eyes. “Very funny, Ethan.”
“Well, you’re not going to stop me from eating as much candy, as I want!” Ethan said, proudly.
Tina walked over to Lea with a card. “Here Lea, happy Valentine’s day!” she said.
“Awww, thank you Tina,” Lea said.
She looked around the room and laughed at the crazy scene.
Linda and Courtney were busy having a balloon fight, and Ethan was still stuffing a ton of candy into his mouth, trying to prove to Tenny that he wouldn’t get a stomach ache because of it.
Lea turned back to Tina. “You know, I have to say Tina, you really do know how to put on a great party. Some people might actually be willing to hire you to plan things like this for them.”
“Yeah, I have thought about doing something like that. But as far as this party goes, it has definitely been a very eventful Valentine for me this year,” Tina said, smiling.
Lea laughed. “Yeah, I think that’s how it’s been for all of us!”
They both laughed.
Finally! It’s done! I have finally posted the last part of A Very Eventful Valentine! Sorry this hasn’t gone up until now. I have been soooooooo busy lately!
I broke my leg recently and I am still recovering from another health thing! (Story for another time.🙂) And I have been wanting to get some pictures up for this post, but we are having some work done in our house, so my dolls are all either in their boxes or in the doll house at moment. (the doll house is not very accessible at the moment.) But I will be trying to get some pics up as soon as possible!
Oh, and by the way, I will be releasing a new mini series soon, called The Girl From The Other Galaxy! Which will be staring the doll that I got for Christmas this past year, Reylen #55. I am super excited about this new series!
Oh, and Tina says to tell you all that you will be seeing a lot more of her in the near future!😉
